Jenna Dewan gave birth to her son in March, and she’s already back in amazing shape. The famous actress and dancer had no trouble bouncing back because she enjoys staying active, but she’s also a big believer in the 80/20 approach to dieting.

Dewan recently discussed her approach to fitness, health, and pregnancy with People and she revealed that she fully embraced the 80/20 diet approach which promotes balance and moderation.

“I try to eat healthy, make good choices and do my green smoothies 80 percent of the time. And then I give myself 20 percent of the time to splurge and eat what I want to eat and have my nachos and French fries and enjoy a little bit, have a glass of wine,” explained Dewan.

The Step Up star also revealed that her fitness routine includes dancing, Pilates, strength training, and hiking. In addition to helping her stay in amazing shape, these exercises are great for her mental health because being too sedentary can affects her mind and emotional state in a negative way.
