Leggings are fashion essential of every workout, but choosing the right ones is easier said than done. Here’s a few models you should definitely avoid if you want to keep your gym game super-strong.

Tight Leggings

Poor-fitting models have a strange power to transform your workouts into a living hell and you should avoid them at all costs. No matter how good they may look on you, tight leggings won’t do you any favors and may only end up pinching your skin during the workout.

Cotton Leggings

Experienced athletes avoid cotton like the plague, because it’s highly absorbent. It’s always better to pick the pieces made of quick drying fabric, and skip those that are not good at repelling moisture or retaining heat – such as cotton.

Leather Leggings

This one should be a no-brainer, but party-ready types of leggings definitely don’t belong in the gym. If you’re a fan of shiny, distracting models, save them for some other occasion. In addition to being distasteful, they’re highly impractical, since you could ruin their surface during your workout.
