Rebel Wilson Reached Her “Year of Health” Goal

In January 2020, Pitch Perfect star Rebel Wilson started her “year of health”. All along the way she’s been updating us on her progress and almost a year into her journey, she’s made an announcement. In a recent Instagram Story, she wrote that she’s reached her goal weight of 75 kilograms (about 165 pounds) with “one month to spare”.

But her goals were about so much more than reaching a number on a scale. “Even though it’s not about a weight number, it’s about being healthy, I needed a tangible measurement to have as a goal and that was 75kg’s,” she wrote.

Wilson has worked hard to reach her goals and she’s documented everything from her flip workouts and battle rope slams to her surf lessons, finding new ways to stay active along the way. In addition to cardio workouts, Wilson does TRX and resistance band abs exercises to build strength, balance, coordination, flexibility, and core stability.

Back in January, her trainer Jono Castano Acero, congratulated the actress on her work writing, ″Friday vibes but @rebelwilson has been putting in the yards 7 days a week! Proud of you, gurl.”

We couldn’t be prouder of Wilson for sticking to her goals and reaching them!
