There’s no secret that listening to music while working out can improve your performance. In fact, listening to music, podcasts, or audiobooks is probably one of the most common things that people do while they exercise. However, usually, when people listen to their favorite entertainment while working out, they’re usually wearing earbuds, such as AirPods or something like it. The question is, are bulky headphones a good option too?

They Deliver a Different Soundscape

This question isn’t a moot point. There are incredible benefits to listening to music on large headphones, such as the sound quality. For people who love and appreciate the sonic quality of audio they’re consuming, it’s perfectly reasonable to assume they’d prefer listening to music on large headphones while working out. From a sound perspective, it may even be safe to assume that it’ll result in better performance.

Mobility Matters

If you’re running or doing rigorous workouts, we can all agree that big headphones are a big no-no. But for exercises such as curls, we maintain that it’s a great option. As long as you keep your body straight and don’t do any sudden movements, your big bulky headphones should work out just fine in the long run!
