Netflix gave us another smash hit series with Squid Game, and this Korean survival drama is taking over every aspect of our lives, including our workout routine. Lilly Sabri recently created an epic workout inspired by the viral game “Red Light, Green Light”.

The fitness influencer describes this 15-minute sweaty cardio session as a full-body HIIT routine that will target your legs, abs, and upper body to tone into a lean physique. The workout draws inspiration from Squid Game, but the stakes aren’t as high.

“Red Light, Green Light” is a children’s game where players have to either move (green light) or stand completely still (red light) and follow the commands after crossing the finish line. Sabri’s approach to this game is not as rigorous, and the “red light” command is simply used as a sign you should take some rest between workouts.

Sabri opened the workout with some stretching exercises that you can use to warm up but quickly moved to more demanding ones, ranging from jumping jacks and walking squats to reverse crunches and burpees. Despite the fact you’re going to take breaks on “red light”, this workout is pretty grueling, especially if you’re trying to move through each exercise as fast as possible.
