Summer Salutation Flow Will Help You Unwind

We all need more balance in our lives, especially now when life seems uncertain. Today we’re sharing a summer salutation yoga flow by yoga instructor Koya Webb that will help you center your body and mind when you need it the most. The workout is quick and easy, but still effective in helping you get energized and calming you down after a stressful day.

Yoga is one of the best things you can do for a better balance of mind and body. As Webb says, before starting your yoga practice you should “set the intention to create more balance in your life, and while you’re at it, pour yourself a cup of tea and enjoy this feel-good flow I created for you!” This will all help you feel more grateful and appreciate all the good things in life. It’s a great reminder that things are probably not as bad as your stressed mind made you believe.

See the flow in the video below and find poses like Pigeon and Child’s Pose that will help you stretch your hips and back and Reverse Table that will open your heart. The exercise ends with a seated meditation which is very important for focusing on the breath and noticing the changes in your body.
