Staying active was more difficult than ever in 2020, but Jillian Michaels is here to change that. Celebrity trainer and fitness influencer started the #takeback2020 challenge on her fitness app, and she’s encouraging her followers to join in.

This challenge is taking place between August 1-30, and fitness enthusiasts can join in by downloading her JM Fitness App. The main goal is to commit yourself “to reclaiming this year and coming out of it better, stronger, and wiser than ever.”

Michaels created a 4-week plan for the users of her app that includes yoga, kickboxing, bodyweight training, HIIT workouts, and more. The majority of exercises are equipment-free, but some of them require a set of light dumbbells.

By creating this challenge, Michaels wants to encourage people to prioritize their health and happiness and push themselves to new heights. Even if you don’t use her app, you can use this challenge as an inspiration to take back 2020 on your own and come up with a fitness plan that suits your needs.
